These videos were shot on a toy video camera in the summer of 2009 while living in Belgium during a residency at FLACC in Genk, Belgium and while in living in Michigan during graduate school. They are a part of an ongoing video series called Field Notes. These films are seen as short observational abstractions of everyday life. They are apart of the project Observations from an Outpost about the daily log of a traveling character who is an impartial observer of observations.
